National Fire Protection Association
Standards (TG 11/2016), Published by BSRIA in 2016, states: ‘NFPA - The National Fire Protection Association is accredited by ANSI and primarily concerned with developing standards devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire and electrical hazards. The NFPA takes an open consensus approach, actively encouraging members of the public to get involved in standard development. The NFPA is the only one of the major standards bodies mentioned that offers free online access for its standards.’
